With around 7,000 in the pot on a 3♠5♦Q♦10♠ board, Dong Chen fired 5,200 from the small blind and Blake Bohn called in the big blind. Natalie Ferguson was on the button and folded.
A J♦ fell on the river and Chen decided to check with around 20,000 behind. Bohn then bet 9,000, and Chen quickly folded.

Daniel Negreanu will enter the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) "with a little bit of a different attitude" in his first year of Seniors Event eligibility, GGPoker's top ambassador told PokerNews.
The 50-year-old is coming off three straight losing summers. But that doesn't concern him, especially considering he ended an 11-year bracelet drought in 2024 when he took down the prestigious $50,000 Poker Players Championship. He's more focused on having fun and playing sound poker than the results.
"The World Series for me, it's not going to be about results that much, because that's luck, right," Negreanu explained. "Luck is going to play into the results. For me, I want to have a good time."
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has officially launched its new WSOP+ app for the 2025 series in Las Vegas, promising to dramatically improve the player experience by reducing wait times and streamlining event access.
Available now for iOS and Android, the WSOP+ app allows players to pre-register for live events, skip lengthy registration lines, and receive real-time updates about seat availability through a virtual queue and push notifications. The app also becomes a central hub for all WSOP essentials, including event schedules, structure sheets, chip counts, rules, daily results, prize payouts, and more.
"WSOP+ will further elevate the WSOP experience for all of our players," said Ty Stewart, CEO of the World Series of Poker. "Not only can our community now save time and effort by registering in advance for their favorite tournaments, but the app will also showcase WSOP content and all of the important event information that participants are eager to have at their fingertips!"
The remaining 272 players are being sent on a 60-minute dinner break.
Play will resume at around 7:30 p.m. local time.
From under the gun, Chino Rheem raised to 2,000. Steve Begleiter was the only player to get involved, calling from the button.
Both players checked the 10♠J♣10♥ flop before seeing a A♠ turn. Rheem led out for 2,000, Begleiter called.
The river brought the 4♥ and Rheem bet again, this time for 5,000.
Once Begleiter called, Rheem tabled K♣Q♠, good enough to lay claim to the pot.

There were roughly 9,000 chips in the pot on a board of 9♠8♦A♥. Michael Pempin bet 3,200 from early position when the 5♠ hit the turn and Paul Hizer called from the big blind.
Pempin fired out another bet of 6,400 when the 8♠ hit the river. Hizer counted out the bet and thought about his option for around 90 seconds before he eventually flicked in the call and got shown A♠Q♦ which scooped the pot for Pempin.

Chris Moorman is still involved as the dinner break approaches but was just forced to fold the river after a bet from Charles Lee.
The board read 2♣4♠4♣A♣J♥ and with around 35,000 in the middle, Moorman checked from the big blind. Lee then bet 16,000, and after a long tank, Moorman folded.
