A Jack Is a Jack For Negreanu

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 15,000 ante

Elior Sion raised to 23,000 on the button and Brian Rast called in the small blind. Daniel Negreanu then three-bet to 83,000 in the big blind and both opponents called.

"Hello, boys," Rast said as he took two, while Negreanu stood pat and Sion drew one. All three players then checked.

Rast had made a pair of deuces, while Negreanu showed a J-9. Sion and Rast both mucked.

"I have a jack. Not a very good jack, but a jack is a jack," Negreanu said as he took the pot.
