Funkhouser Commits Most Of It Twice

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 18,000 ante

David Funkhouser was heads-up with Oscar Johansson after the draw when he bet 71,000 from the big blind. Johansson then raised to 350,000 in the cutoff, sending Funkhouser deep into the tank.

"Please don't show me if you're bluffing, Oscar," he said to Johansson as he eventually folded. "I don't care how Oscar plays at this point. I can't take it anymore," he added.

The next hand, Johansson raised to 24,000 in the hijack and Funkhouser shoved for 224,000. Johansson folded and Funkhouser took the pot.

Greg Mueller then raised to 35,000 in the cutoff and Funkhouser reraised again, putting in 278,000 and leaving only a few chips behind. Mueller took a few minutes before folding. "That was close," he said.
