Peter Fox Eliminated in 8th Place ($42,308)

Level 41 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Peter Fox
Peter Fox

Peter Fox shoved 10,100,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Stoeber called from the next seat.

Peter Fox: 98 All in
Jonathan Stoeber: QQ

Fox had just five big blinds remaining in his stack and would have been forced to put two of them in during the next hand. He did flop a piece on 495 to give him some hope, but the 36 runout meant he was out in eighth.

Coatar Willing to Put Chips in Play

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Geoffrey Coatar has made some interesting calls when playing "big stack poker" as he has said for much of the day. And he has won most of those hands.

Now at the final table, Coatar has seemingly been more selective, but he has shoved all in several times and not gotten a call.

In a recent hand, he raised to 3,500,000 from under the gun, but didn't get any challengers. Earlier, he bet 10 million to force a fold from a preflop raise by Peter Fox.

Seward Three-Bet Shoves

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

In the latest two hands on the final table, Ryan Hohner limped in from the small blind and Geoffrey Coatar checked his option in the big blind.

They checked to the river on 410J3Q, where Hohner bet 2,500,000. Coater kept shouting "Quads," throughout the hand, but didn't think his hand was good enough to call, so he folded.

In the next hand, Peter Fox made it 3,000,000 from under the gun and Nicholas Seward shoved 18,500,000 from the big blind. Fox went into the tank for around two minutes, but eventually settled on a fold.

Morin Moving

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Ryan Hohner raised from under the gun to 3,000,000 and was called by Matthew Morin in the big blind.

The flop came J98 and Morin check-called the 1,800,000 chip bet from Hohner.

On the 7 turn both players checked.

And when the Q peeled off on the river Morin put in a 4,700,000 chip bet. Hohner thought for a bit before making the call and being shown K10 by Morin for the king-high straight.

Stoeber Hunts Fox to the River

Level 39 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Peter Fox went all in from the small blind with a sizable chip stack, the third time he had pushed in that rotation. Jonathan Stoeber was the first to look him up, going all in with less.

Jonathan Stoeber: K9All in
Peter Fox: AQ

Stoeber's hand wasn't the best, but he had outs, even after Fox paired his queen on the flop. The runout Q1043K landed Stober a king on the river and more tournament life.

Seward Holds Against Morin

Level 39 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Matthew Morin made it 2,500,000 to go from early position and Nicholas Seward made a committing three-bet from the cutoff, leaving just a few chips behind. When it got back to Morin, he shoved, and Seward called off his stack of 10,000,000 total.

Nicholas Seward: AQ All in
Matthew Morin: KQ

Seward had the dominating hand and he made it count as the 8942J runout kept him in the lead with ace-high, which earned him a double-up.
