Charles Thomas began the hand with a raise from the cutoff and faced a re-raise from David Rogers in the small blind. Thomas called.
Rogers bet on the 7♦9♦10♣ board, and Thomas came along with a call.
The J♣ peeled off on the turn before Rogers bet. Thomas elected to raise, and Rogers called after taking an inventory of Thomas' remaining chips.
Rogers bet and forced Thomas to put in his final 20,000 on the A♠ river. Thomas called to head to a showdown.
Rogers showed 8♥8♦ for a turned straight, much to the disappointment of Thomas, who showed 10♦10♠ for a flopped set.
