Adam Tyburski Leads the Final Seven of $1,500 Limit Hold'em
Limits: 50,000-100,000
Day 2 of Event #33: $1,500 Limit Hold’em has ended here at the 2025 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. There were 99 returning players from a total field of 491 entries to start the day and after ten hour-long levels, only seven players remain.
Leading the field is Adam Tyburski, who finished the night with 2,985,000. Tyburski was under the radar for most of the day before coolering Paul Lenkeit with a turned full house against Lenkeit's turned trips. Tyburski was able to ride that momentum all the way to the chip lead at the end of the night. He is most closely followed by Nicholas Tsoukalas, who finished with 2,195,000 while Bobbi Harrell rounds out the podium with 2,130,000.

Day 2 Action
The day began close to the money with 74 spots paid, and with several short stacks at the start of the day, it did not take long to reach the money bubble. Kevin Strzalka earned the unfortunate title of bubble boy after being forced all in from the big blind and failing to improve with nine-deuce against Christopher Bartley’s nine-eight.
A flurry of rapid-fire eliminations followed. Some notables to find the cash but fall short of the final table include Jeremy Becker (42nd - $3,193), Scott Seiver (34th - $3,590), David “Bakes” Baker (26th - $4,138) and start-of-day chip leader John Monnette (25th - $4,138).
Chris Hunichen was the last 25k Fantasy Draft player in the field and the only one to make the final table. He was short-stacked for the first half of the day before turning kings full to eliminate Michael Lancaster. Not long after, he delivered a sickening bad beat to Ruoxiao Shi in a hand that saw Hunichen flop a set, Shi turn a straight and Hunichen river a boat. That hand brought Hunichen near the top of the counts but his momentum ran out at the final table. Hunichen was on the wrong side of two coolers against Bobbi Harrell, including one where Harrell made running quads. Those hands left Hunichen short, ultimately bowing out in eighth place ($11,594) just before the end of the night.

Hunichen was also the last player with a WSOP bracelet, so his departure ensures there will be a first-time bracelet winner in this event. The final seven players will return to the Horseshoe Event Center Wednesday at 1 p.m. for the final day.
PokerNews will be on site to provide updates on the action from the moment cards are in the air until a winner is crowned at the end of the night.
