Day 2 of Event #33: $1,500 Limit Hold’em will feature 99 players vying to make the money and beyond as they play at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. A total of 491 entrants formed a prize pool of $677,211 at the 2025 World Series of Poker, with each remaining player looking to snag the top prize of $131,061.
Day 2 will see the players look to cash in on their Day 1 efforts, with the top 74 players making it into the money with a minimum cash prize of $3,041. Play will begin at 1 p.m. local time and resume at Level 16 with the limits at 6,000/12,000.
Christoph Bohm finished Day 1 second in chips, accumulating a stack of 342,000. Bohm had a strong start to the day, finishing with one of the top chip stacks after nine levels of play, but it wasn’t until the final two levels that the German vaulted up the leaderboard to bag the second biggest stack of anyone heading into Day 2.

Christopher Bartley was a consistent presence at the top of the chip counts throughout Day 1. Bartley is chasing the first World Series of Poker bracelet of his career and will have a promising opportunity to do so after finishing with a top ten stack after Day 1. Bartley led all players after nine levels of play, bagging 231,000 chips.
Stephanie Anderson
Roberta Harrell had a hot ending to Day 1 and finished tenth in chips with 223,000. Harrell is joined by Ruth Hall (182,000) and Stephanie Anderson (154,000) as the final three women remaining in the tournament.
Scott Seiver
Seven-time bracelet winner Scott Seiver is still in contention. The decorated veteran will enter the day with 142,000 chips as he aims to add number eight to his bracelet count. Seiver hovered just above a starting stack for several levels, but began to chip up as the day wore on. The bracelet winner found success in the final two levels of Day 1 to grow his chip count. Despite that, Seiver will have his work cut out for him as he will enter the fray with only 11 big bets to work with.
Humberto Brenes
Poker veteran Humberto Brenes hung on to make Day 2. Brenes peaked as high as just over doubling his starting stack, but could not gain a footing in the back half of Day 1, as he watched his stack dwindle, finishing with just 17,100 chips as he heads into Day 2. Brenes will look to spin up his stack with his lucky shark card protector as he chases his third WSOP bracelet.
