Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today sees the start of Event #34: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.

This one-day event gets underway at 10 a.m. local time, with late registration open for 11 levels (until approximately 2:20 p.m.). There will be 20-minute breaks every six levels, and a 60-minute dinner break is scheduled after Level 21 (approx. 6 p.m.). Only one reentry is allowed in this event.

The starting stack is 25,000 chips, and all levels are 20 minutes long. Each player has a bounty of $500 on their head, which will be collected by the player who takes their last tournament chip. Bounties cannot be redeemed until after 5 p.m.

The reigning champion is Peter Park, who defeated Mark Dube in heads-up play. It was Park's maiden bracelet win, and he reigned supreme over a field of 2,110 players to claim the lion's share of the $1,761,850 regular prize pool. With bounties, the final prize kitty reached $2,816,850, and Park claimed the top prize of $243,705, in addition to a slew of $500 bounties.

Park used to play full-time but found his passion in aviation and switched careers. Despite the change-up in his profession, Park said he still played online every day and that the bracelet was a very big deal for him.
