Ionescu Pairs the River

Petre Ionescu raised from the cutoff to 1,200, Akash Seth called from the button, and Tanner Pray also came along for the flop from the big blind. Pray checked the flop K64, while Ionescu put in the c-bet of 1,300. Seth stayed to see the turn, and Pray got out of the way.

On the turn 6, Ionescu kept up the aggression with a bet of 2,300, and Seth called.

Both players checked the river Q, and Ionescu held Q10 for two pair and the win as Seth mucked.

Daniel Lazrus raised from early position to 1,100, Ana Marquez made the call from late position, and Zachary Hudson called from the big blind. The flop came out with 998, and everyone checked,

Everyone also checked the turn 3 and the river Q, and Lazrus revealed A4, Marquez showed A10, and Hudson mucked.

Marquez had the best kicker with ace-high and scooped the small pot.

Brian Shaw limped from under the gun before Andrei Konopelko raised to 2,000 on his immediate left. Maria Konnikova made the call in the cutoff, with Shaw tossing in the call.

Shaw checked the 542 flop to Konopelko, who continued for 2,500. Konnikova called while Shaw got out of the way.

Konopelko fired again on the Q turn, this time betting 6,500. Konnikova called and the 9 river completed the board. Konopelko slid out a bet of 10,000.

Konnikova tossed out a raise to 30,000, sending Konopelko into the tank. After taking several minutes, Konopelko opted to lay it down and Konnikova added to her growing stack.
