Sternheimer Felts Chen

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Philip Sternheimer made it 8,500 to go from middle position with Paul Volpe calling from the hijack, Dan Heimiller calling out of the small blind, and Dong Chen defending his big blind.

After Heimiller checked the Q89 flop, Chen bet 36,500 with just a few chips behind. Sternheimer potted it, forcing Volpe and Heimillier to fold. Chen called and the cards were flipped up.

Dong Chen: QJJ7 All in
Philip Sternheimer: AAJ4

Sternheimer had aces and flush draw, so Chen needed some help to survive. The rest of the board ran out 46 and Sternheimer's aces held up, sending Chen for an early bath.
