Deeb Goes from Trapper to Trappee
Dylan Wilkerson limped under the gun, Shaun Deeb limped next to act, and Todd Ivens limped to his left.
"C'mon, family pot! Let's trap Jim [Collopy] with a piece of cheese," joked Deeb as Jim Collopy was seated in the big blind.
Elie Nakache completed from the small blind and Collopy checked his option in the big blind.
The Q♠J♠2♠ flop checked around to the 10♦ turn, which saw Collopy lead for 6,000 and only Deeb called.
On the 2♣ river, Collopy checked it over to Deeb who announced a bet of 17,000. Collopy was clearly displeased with the situation he found himself in after late registering, but he eventually tossed in the call.
"I like your hand, I have ace-high," admitted Deeb, as he tabled A♠8♣5♣4♣ for just the naked ace of spades bluff. Collopy revealed K♠8♠5♥2♥ for the second-nut flush as he dragged the pot.
