Green Makes Gutsy River Call for Half

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A pot was brewing in a blind-on-blind battle between Yevgeniy Timoshenko from the small blind and Richard Green from the big blind.

30,000 went in from each preflop, 30,000 went in on the flop, and 90,000 went in on the turn from each to create a pot of 310,000.

With the board reading A107Q6, Timoshenko checked to Green who bet 250,000. Timoshenko responded with a check-jam for 578,000, slightly more than what Green had.

Green would tank for over three minutes as the entire room stood and observed. Green eventually slammed forward a stack of chips to call off his stack.

Richard Green: A742 All in
Yevgeniy Timoshenko: AK105

Timoshenko rivered the nut flush with no low while Green flopped two pair and rivered the second nut low. He made the right call on the end to get half.
