Voor Bubbles the Tournament

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Andrew Voor
Andrew Voor

Andrew Voor raised to 35,000 from middle position with just 9,000 behind. When it folded to Ryan Hoenig in the big blind, he 3-bet to put Voor all in. Voor called and the cards were turned over.

Andrew Voor: AK62 All in
Ryan Hoenig: AK54

Voor was one of the shortest stacks in the room, so even a chop would boost his stack considerably.

The flop came down 107J and a chop looked likely. The 10 on the turn meant only a four or five on the river would eliminate Voor. The 4 dropped on the river and the crowd around the table let out a groan of disbelief, as Hoenig improved to a pair of fours to send Voor to the rail on the direct bubble.

With the elimination of Voor all of the remaining players were now in the money.
