Furth had the chance to send the tournament into heads-up if he could get a favorable runout from the dealer. The board came 8♦A♣7♦Q♠4♠ to give both players the same high, but the river card meant Furth hit a low and earned three-quarters of the pot.

Shaun Deeb limped the button, Philip Sternheimer completed from the small blind, and Bruno Furth checked his option in the big blind.

On the K♦6♠5♥ flop, the action checked to Deeb who bet 250,000 and both opponents called.

The turn was the 9♠. Furth led from big blind for 1,100,000 and only Deeb called.

On the A♣ river, Furth checked to Deeb who potted for 3,590,000, and Furth laid it down after a minute's tank.

Deeb tabled A♠8♥3♠3♥ for a missed flush draw as he would have only gotten half had Furth called. Deeb now takes the chip lead for the very first time.

Shaun Deeb shoved his stack of roughly 3,200,000 into the middle from the big blind, with Bruno Furth trying to bust him out of the small blind.

The 9♠ hit the turn and Furth fired out a bet of 850,000. Deeb folded and Furth flipped over A♥5♥ for the steel wheel and said "I would have slow rolled you on that one"

Bruno Furth raised the button to 375,000 with only Philip Sternheimer calling out of the big blind.

Both players checked the Q♦9♦8♦ flop to see the 3♣ appear on the turn. Sternheimer bet 375,000, which Furth called.

The 8♣ appeared on the river and Sternheimer bet 925,000. Furth pondered for a few moments and then raised it to 2,700,000. Sternheimer looked back at his cards and did some tanking of his own before eventually making the call.

Furth tabled Q♥10♦8♥6♦ for a full house to win the pot.
