Ashish Gupta opened the action with a raise to 6,000,000 holding the A♣Q♠ and he earned folds from Ivan Ruban on the button with the A♥8♦ as well as Klemens Roiter, who had the K♣10♠ in the small blind. Daniel Lei also let go of K♥6♣ and the Aussie claimed the pot.
