Oganyan Gets Paid with a Straight

Level 27 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Aram Oganyan raised to 2,100,000 on the button with 64 and Joao Vieira called from the big blind with J7. Both players flopped a pair on the 743 flop and Vieira check-called a bet of 2,600,000 from Oganyan.

The turn brought the Q and both players checked to the 5 on the river. Vieira led out with a bet of 2,000,000 and Oganyan made it 9,500,000 after hitting a straight. Vieira contemplated for over two minutes, using the last of his time extensions. He eventually called and Oganyan showed him the bad news.
