Sovann Penn raised in the hijack and Melvin McCraney on the button, Dennis Morrison in the small blind, and Jon Kyte in the big blind all called.
Morrison bet the 5♣K♠Q♣ flop which prompted Kyte to raise and Penn to three-bet behind him. McCraney pitched his cards while the other two players called.
Everyone checked the 6♣ turn to the 7♥ river where Morrison check-called a bet from Kyte while Penn folded.
Kyte tabled A♦K♣J♣3♣ for second nut-flush and second nut-low which was good for him to scoop a sizable pot.
After losing a few hands during the level, Dylan Smith found himself all-in for his last 60,000 from under the gun. Patrick Stacey three-bet from the small blind and the big blind folded.
Dylan Smith: A♦10♣6♣4♣
Patrick Stacey: A♠Q♠4♠2♥
The K♥9♥9♣ flop brought no help to Smith. The board ran out A♣6♠ and Stacey held the winner with aces and nines with a queen kicker as Smith found the exit in 35th.
Life Outside Poker is a podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 28th episode, Connor talks with Canadian high-stakes pro Sam Greenwood about getting into poker with his two brothers Lucas Greenwood and Max Greenwood, running up a bankroll in high school, traveling the world playing high-stakes tournaments, climbing Canada's all-time money list and battling with Vladimir "Gambledore" Korzinin at Triton.
Greenwood also talked about the state of online poker, how to deal with cheaters, being a dad and his new "Punt of the Day" blog where he breaks down key hands from high-stakes tournaments.
David Anderson raised from under the gun and Ilia Krupin called on the button with Shunsuke Shimakura calling to put himself at risk in the big blind.
Anderson check-called a bet from Krupin on the flop of 10♥7♦6♥ and action checked down on the 4♥5♦ runout.
Shunsuke Shimakura: A♣7♥6♣4♣
David Anderson: A♠Q♣8♦3♠
Ilia Krupin: K♦K♣10♦7♠
The tens and sevens were good for Krupin to take the high while Anderson's second nut-low was good for the low, chopping Shimakura out of the tournament.
