Everyone Gets a Piece of Big Three-Way Pot

Level 16 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Shon Wilson raised under the gun and Giorgio Spano reraised in middle position. Jay Hong called in the small blind and Wilson made it four bets. Spano then five-bet and both opponents called.

The flop came 662. Spano bet, Hong called, Wilson raised all in, and both Spano and Hong called.

Spano continued to bet on the K turn and 4 river as Hong called him down. Spano ended up with QQ53 for a six-high straight, while Hong had AJ52 for a 6-5-4-2-A low to chop the side pot. Wilson turned over A432 and chopped the main pot with Spano with a better low (6-4-3-2-A).

Monceked Out of the Tournament

Level 16 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Michael Moncek was all-in for 12,000 from middle position. Terrence Hastoo three-bet the small blind, and the cards hit their backs once the big blind folded.

Michael Moncek: A753 All in
Terrence Hastoo: AQ43

The A52 flop gave Hastoo a wheel, but Moncek had boat outs for half as well as chop outs for a wheel. However, the board ran out J2 and Moncek hit the exit early in the proceedings.

Verdi Falls To Schams

Level 16 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-way pot with Dominick Sarle on the button, Casey Schams in the big blind, and Sallyann Verdi in the hijack, who was all in for under three bets.

The flop rolled out J33, and Schams bet and was quickly called by Sarle.

On the turn K, Schams bet a second time and Sarle wasted little time in folding.

Sallyann Verdi: AK75 All in
Casey Schams: J1043

Schams had locked up the pot on the turn with treys-full before the inconsequential 5 rolled off on the river, and Verdi was eliminated from the tournament.
