"Mann in Orange" Busts Jones

Level 17 : Limits 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Multiple bets went into the middle preflop as Howard Mann in early position, Scott Clements in middle position, as well as Michael Russell and Mary Jones in the blinds, saw a flop of JQ6. Jones then put in her last 7,000 and all three opponents called.

Mann, Russell, and Clements checked the J turn. Mann then bet on the Q river and Clements and Russell got out of the way.

"Got a queen?" Jones asked.

"I do," Mann said, showing AAQ4 for trip queens. Jones sent K1087 into the muck as she hit the rail.

"Mann in orange wins pot. Just put that," tablemate Scott Lake joked after the hand

Bertrand Catches Viox's Hand in the Cookie Jar

Level 17 : Limits 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Joseph Bertrand
Joseph Bertrand

Joseph Bertrand raised from the button and Christopher Viox defended his big blind.

Viox check-called a bet on the 874 flop.

The K turn checked through to the K river which saw Viox lead with a bet and Bertrand begrudgingly put in the call.

Viox tabled just the A4 sheepishly as Bertrand revealed Q763 and his two pair and weak low were enough for the scoop.

Viriyayuthakorn, Bertrand Play It Friendly

Level 18 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Jason Viriyayuthakorn raised on the button and Joseph Bertrand called in the big blind. "I'll try not to scoop you," Viriyayuthakorn told him heading to the 7KQ flop.

"I'll try not to scoop you, too," Bertrand replied. Bertrand then led out with a bet. "I guarantee that hit me more than it hit you," he added as Viriyayuthakorn called.

Both players checked the 3 turn and Bertrand also checked the 4 river. Viriyayuthakorn then bet and Bertrand called.

"Three fours," Viriyayuthakorn announced, turning over A1044.

"I saved money on the turn, I guess, because you were definitely calling," Bertrand said as he mucked.

Action was picked up on the turn with four bets in front of each player with Darren Taylor in the cutoff and Joseph Weinberger in the big blind.

The board read 4QKA and Weinberger bet which saw Taylor raise him all in for 26,000 total which Weinberger called.
