Head Pushes Back Against Taylor

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Stuart Taylor opened for 2,200 from under the gun and got three callers in Russell Head on the button, Troy Donaldson in the small blind and Mark Lillge in the big blind.

The flop came 357 and after checks from the blinds, Taylor continued with 4,000. This time, only Head called to see the next card.

Persistent, Taylor shot out another 5,000 on the 3 turn. Unfazed, Head called again. Finally on the river 10, Head pushed back with a 12,000 bet after another 5,000 bet from Taylor. Taylor flat called.

Head showed JJ which made Taylor muck his hand.
