"Good Guy" Zhu Snaps Off Chen
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Heads-up on a flop of 10♠5♦4♣, James Chen bet 7,500 from the small blind and Yueqi Zhu called under the gun.
The turn was the J♥ and Chen checked to Zhu, who bet 32,500. Chen called to the A♠ river, where he potted to 97,500. Zhu snap-called.
Chen showed A♥Q♠9♦6♣2♥, while Zhu turned over J♣10♣5♠3♥2♦ for a wheel to scoop the pot.
"A wheel is never good there," tablemate Phil Hellmuth joked with Zhu after the hand. "I like this guy. He's a good guy," Hellmuth added, patting Zhu on the back as Zhu raked in the pot.
Chen had busted Walter Chambers on the previous hand, and Chambers was still standing by his seat waiting to reenter while this hand was taking place.
