Ilya Nikiforov raised to 32,000 from the cutoff and Maksim Pisarenko defended his big blind.

Pisarenko committed his remaining 80,000 on the A♣J♠8♦ flop and Nikiforov called.

Pisarenko had two pair against the top pair of Nikiforov, who also had the better low draw. The A♦ turn put Nikiforov in the lead with trips. However, the K♦ dropped on the river and Pisarenko won the pot with a backdoor flush.

Woodward Bests Richards in Massive Boat Over Boat Clash

Matthew Woodward just inflicted a massive cooler on John Richards to retake the tournament chip lead and filled in the details.

According to Woodward, Richards had opened in early position before he repotted to 108,000 in middle position. Richards called and the flop came A♥6♦J♣. Woodward then potted again, Richards moved all in for 600,000, and Woodward called.

Woodward had spiked top set to leave Richards at risk as the board ran out 10♣10♠, giving both players a full house but Woodward aces full of tens to send Richards to the rail.

"Congratulations, sir. You have 1,700,000 in chips," tablemate Arthur Morris said to him.

"Big pot. Big pot," Ben Yu repeated.

Beinner Turns a Flush to Stay Alive

Matthew Beinner raised to 30,000 from the button before David Williams three-bet to 96,000 from the big blind. Beinner called with around 90,000 behind.

Williams bet on the 9♥8♠Q♠ flop, and Beinner jammed for his last 90,000 or so. Williams called.

Williams had a set versus the flush draw of Beinner. The 5♠ turn was instant service for Beinner as he improved to a flush to take the lead. The J♠ river didn't change anything, and Beinner doubled.

The flop came 9♣6♥2♣ and Liberto moved all in as Chang called for his last 10,000.

Catching the action on the flop with the board showing 7♥8♠Q♦, Alex Tchong got all his 110,000 chips into the middle from the small blind against Justin Liberto out of the big blind.

Tchong had top set and the better low draw, against the straight draw of Liberto. The 9♣ on the turn catapulted Liberto into the lead with a straight. There was no board-pairing river to save Tchong, as the K♥ fell and Tchong was out of the tournament.

Brandt Takes Three-Quarters Off Weisman

Dylan Weisman raised to 32,000 in the hijack and Fahredin Mustafov and Lawrence Brandt came along from the blinds.

The flop came 5♥A♣5♦ and Weisman continued for 22,000. Mustafov folded, while Brandt potted, Weisman reraised, and Brandt stuck in his last 320,000.

Both players had flopped a full house, but the 3♥ turn also gave Brandt a low and left him poised to take three-quarters. The river was the 3♠ and Weisman handed over most of the pot.

Joseph Genova had whittled down to his last 3,000 and was forced all in from the big blind. Veerachai Vongxaiburana then limped in under the gun, George Alexander raised to 40,000 in middle position, and Vongxaiburana called.

Both players checked the K♥Q♠10♣ flop. Alexander then bet 30,000 on the 2♦ turn and Vongxaiburana folded.

Alexander turned over A♦J♦7♥5♠2♥ for the nut straight and Genova realized he was already drawing dead going to the 4♥ river. His cards quickly hit the muck as he was eliminated on the money bubble.

The remaining 61 players are in the money.

Darryll Fish limped from middle position before Veerachai Vongxaiburana raised to 45,000 from the cutoff. James Chen called from the small blind, and Fish also called.

Chen checked the 4♥8♣9♣ flop, and Fish bet 100,000 with 45,000 behind. Vongxaiburana potted it with the covering stack, which forced Chen out. Fish called and the cards were revealed.

Vongxaiburana flopped a set of fours, and Fish needed a little help from the dealer to survive. The rest of the board came 8♠K♠ and Vongxaiburana took down the pot with a boat, eliminating Fish on the soft bubble.

Matthew Wantman was eliminated at the same time on another table.

Vongxaiburana then moved all in for 256,000 and Alexander took nearly a minute before calling. He showed A♦K♦J♠10♠7♥ for straight draws, while Vongxaiburana had A♥9♠9♣5♥2♠ for a set of nines.
