Theuma stood up from his seat and began filming the action as the flop came 968. The Q turn gave Chen some outs with a pair, but the K river improved Theuma to a set and earned him a double up.

"Let's go. Nice to get a monstrous hand when you have ten bigs," Theuma said as he sat back down.

On a flop of Q53 Jonathan Krela got his last 30,000 into the middle with Viktor Blom making the call to try and bust him from the big blind.

Krela was one of the shortest stacks remaining in the tournament, so a scoop here would give him a good chance of sneaking into the money. However, the rest of the board came 9A, which may have improved Krela to a set of aces, but Blom ended up with a wheel, and sent Krela to the showers.

Phillips Takes Another Hit as Nikiforov Doubles

Ilya Nikiforov raised to 25,000 in the cutoff and Tyler Phillips three-bet to 80,000 in the big blind. Nikiforov then moved all in for 123,000 and Phillips called.

Nikiforov hit two pair on the A9Q flop to take the lead, while the rest of the board ran out 102 and Phillips was forced to hand over another pot as Nikiforov doubled up.

Around 200,000 was already in the middle as Huck Seed and George Alexander saw the turn on a board of 3J59. Seed then bet 180,000 from the hijack, Alexander moved all in on the button, and Seed called for around 60,000 more.

Seed showed J5432 for two pair, while Alexander had AQJ104. The K river gave Alexander a straight and Seed was sent to the rail.

"I made a bad play," Seed lamented on his way to the exit.

Catching the action on the turn in a heads-up pot of a board that showed 86J9. Matthew Woodward bet 40,000 from under the gun, and Igor Zektser called from middle position.

The 9 landed on the river and Woodward bet 40,000 again. Zekster thought for a few moments before opting to fold and forfeit the pot to Woodward.

PJ Cha bet his last 50,000 on a board of 788Q and Tyler Phillips called on the button.

Cha showed A10982, while Phillips had AJ844. Both players had trip eights with an ace-kicker, but the 5 river also gave Cha a low as he took three-quarters.

Yeh Shows His Boat

Brad Ruben made it 16,000 to go from the cutoff with Matthew Beinner calling from the small blind, and Andrew Yeh defending his big blind.

The action checked to Ruben on the 6Q5 flop, and he bet 18,000. Beinner and Yeh called.

Beinner checked again when the K hit the turn, and Yeh decided to lead out for 105,000. Ruben called, but Beinner folded.

Yeh jammed for around 200,000 upon seeing the Q roll off on the river. Ruben folded, and Yeh turned over Qx5x for a full house.
