Koon Nearly Doubles

Level 13 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon limped in early position as the shortest stack at the table and Nick Schulman called in the small blind as Martin Kabrhel checked his option in the big blind.

Schulman and Kabrhel checked on the flop of KA10 and Koon bet 135,000 with just a single 5,000 chip behind. Schulman called. "How can I play against two champions?" Kabrhel said before folding.

Schulman and Koon then checked down the 5 turn and 5 river as Koon showed K7 to beat out the 106 of Schulman.

A few hands earlier, Kabrhel told Andrew Lichtenberger to apologize to Schulman for making two pair with ace-four against Schulman's better ace. "It would make him happy."

"You know what would make me happy, Martin?" Schulman said without finishing his thought.
