Peters Sets the Trap, Kornuth Gets Out of It

Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

It appeared to be a four-bet pot shaping up between David Peters and Chance Kornuth with nearly 300,000 in the middle going to the flop of K103. Peters led out with a bet of 90,000 from the big blind and Kornuth called from the cutoff.

The turn was the 5 which slowed the action as both players checked to the K on the river. Peters checked again but Kornuth wisely checked it back. Peters flipped over 1010 for a full house and Kornuth relinquished his cards.

Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

A big heads-up pot brewed between Alex Kulev in middle position and Nick Petrangelo in the cutoff on a board of Q210J.

With around 450,000 already in the middle, Kulev checked on the turn and Petrangelo checked back. Kulev then bet 275,000 on the 4 river and Petrangelo called.

Kulev showed 99 for a pair of nines, but it was no good against the overpair of Petrangelo with KK.

Cigarettes? Vapes?

Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 19,000 from under the gun and was called by Adrian Mateos in the hijack and Alfred Decarolis in the big blind. The flop came AQ10 and the action checked to Mateos who bet 17,000. Both Decarolis and Vogelsang called to see the 9 on the turn.

It checked to Mateos again who sized up a bet of 90,000 this time. Decarolis still called and Vogelsang stepped aside. The A paired the board on the river and Decarolis checked for the third time. Mateos tossed in a bet of 215,000 and Decarolis quickly folded.

"Cigarettes? Vapes?" echoed behind the players as a showgirl walked past the tables. Unsurprisingly, no purchases were made at this time.

Jesse Lonis put Ben Heath to a tough decision on a board of K9366.

Lonis bet 303,000 on the river with less than that in the pot. Heath went deep in the tank and used two time extensions before calling. Lonis rolled over AA and Heath sent his cards to the dealer before getting moved to another table.

Lichtenberger Sits and Scoops

Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger was one of a few new entries after the break and got right into the action. Alex Kulev opened to 18,000 in early position and Lichtenberger three-bet to 70,000 on the button. Kulev called and they went to a flop of J63.

Both players checked and the 8 landed on the turn. Kulev led out with a bet of 40,000 and Lichtenberger called to see the 3 on the river. Kulev checked this time and Lichtenberger splashed in a bet of 180,000 which prompted a snap-fold from Kulev.
