The flop of 329 gave Daly the lead and the board finished out JK to give him a straight to secure Hellmuth's elimination. Hellmuth got a round of applause as he bowed out in third place, ending his quest for a record-extending 18th bracelet.

"What the f*** just happened?" Hellmuth said quietly.

Hausen checked the K turn to Daly again, who bet. Kyte then raised all in for 520,000, folding out Hausen. Daly made a quick call, and the cards were tabled.

Both players played ace-king, but Daly had a flush draw and a low draw as well. The 10 river brought in the former, eliminating last year's runner-up in fifth place.
