The flop of 3♦2♣9♥ gave Daly the lead and the board finished out J♠K♥ to give him a straight to secure Hellmuth's elimination. Hellmuth got a round of applause as he bowed out in third place, ending his quest for a record-extending 18th bracelet.

"What the f*** just happened?" Hellmuth said quietly.

Daly showed A♥K♠K♥J♠ for kings and deuces, and Hausen's A♣7♠7♣3♦ was soon added to the muck.

Hausen checked the K♥ turn to Daly again, who bet. Kyte then raised all in for 520,000, folding out Hausen. Daly made a quick call, and the cards were tabled.

Daly showed a pair of aces, and Hellmuth tabled a low. Orlov was left with ace-high and no low, and took his exit in sixth place.

Flachsbart called off his last 50,000, and a four-way flop of 5♣J♦8♣ was dealt. It checked to Orlov, who bet. Both Choi and Hellmuth called to the 4♥ turn, where the same betting action occurred.

Choi then led out on the 2♠ river, seeing both opponents fold. Choi showed A♥6♦4♠3♦ for a rivered wheel, and he sent Flachsbart home when the latter tabled A♠9♥6♥4♣.
