Hellmuth Scoops Small One

Level 25

Omaha Hi-Lo

After an orbit of insignificant stud hands, Kevin Choi raised from the hijack in Omaha 8. Phil Hellmuth called in the small blind, as did Shaun Deeb in the big blind.

The A35 flop checked through to the K turn, where Hellmuth led out. Both Deeb and Choi took some time, but ultimately they both mucked their hands as Hellmuth was shipped the chips.

Hausen Leaves Deeb Short

Level 26

Omaha Hi-Lo

Tobias Hausen raised in middle position, and Shaun Deeb three-bet on the button. It folded back to Hausen, who called. Hausen then check-called Deeb's bet on the 2A10 flop, and did the same on the 10 turn.

The 5 river saw the German lead out, which sent Deeb into the tank. After a while, Deeb decided to fold and leave himself with just over one big bet.

Deeb Triples Up

Level 26

Stud Hi-Lo

Shaun Deeb: AK9/92JJ All in
Kevin Choi: 4x4xXx/35KQ
Phil Hellmuth: K102/A35A

Kevin Choi brought in, Phil Hellmuth completed, and Shaun Deeb tossed in a two-bet. Choi called, thinking it was still a single bet at first, and Hellmuth came along as well.

Deeb then tossed in his final 30,000 chips on fourth street, being called by both opponents. Choi and Hellmuth checked until sixth street, where Hellmuth bet with his open pair of aces. Choi called to seventh street, which was checked down.

Hellmuth did not improve his pair of aces, and Choi tabled a pair of fours before they disappeared into the muck. Deeb played two pair, awarding him the pot and tripling him up.
