Ramos Running on Fumes, Then Builds Back

Level 26

Stud Hi-Lo

Gabriel Ramos: XxXx/57105/Xx
Phil Hellmuth: XxXx/JKA8/Xx

Gabriel Ramos checked an open pair of fives on sixth street, after which Hellmuth bet. Ramos called, leaving only a few chips behind.

Hellmuth also bet seventh street after Ramos had checked, putting his opponent all-in. Ramos spent some time in the tank before deciding to fold and preserve his last chips.

His saved chips were tripled up in the next hand, and then doubled up the next hand after, ending up with a stack of two and a half big bets.

Benny Glaser

Omaha Hi Lo

Benny Glaser opened from under the gun and Jason Daly three-bet in middle position as Shirley Rosario called in the cutoff and Jon Kyte called in the small blind.

Kyte bet on the flop of 9105 and Glaser raised all in. Everyone called including Kyte, who was forced all in.

Daly bet on the J turn and Rosario called, and the same action took place on the Q river.

Rosario showed a no-good set of jacks with AJJ2, while Kyte and Daly chopped the pot with AK84 and AKQ3. Glaser was eliminated after quickly mucking his hand.

Hellmuth Scoops Small One

Level 25

Omaha Hi-Lo

After an orbit of insignificant stud hands, Kevin Choi raised from the hijack in Omaha 8. Phil Hellmuth called in the small blind, as did Shaun Deeb in the big blind.
