Gerhart Gets There on the River to Leave Rheem Short

Level 5

Omaha Hi-Lo

Chino Rheem raised from the cutoff and was called by William Coren in the small blind and Kevin Gerhart in the big blind.

On the K54 flop, Rheem continued and both opponents called.

The turn brought the 10. The action checked to Rheem who bet again and both Coren and Gerhart stuck around.

On the Q river, Gerhart led from the big blind, Rheem quickly called and Coren sigh-called. Gerhart tabled AKJ6 for rivered broadway as he scooped.

Rheem lamented in the post-mortem, "I had five-five-deuce-three, I had you so f*cked."

Ivanov Loses Despite Replacement Card

Level 6

Stud Hi-Lo

William Short: J82/54A9
Austin Srur: 1022/42Q5
Stanislav Ivanov: XxXx/46K3/Xx

Arriving on fifth street, the action had checked to Stanislav Ivanov. The dealer was under the impression the action had checked around, and gave Ivanov his next up-card already, the 9.

The players were quick to halt the dealer, and the floor was called over. Ivanov was allowed to take his action, and he opted to bet.

Two calls followed, after which the 9 was shuffled back into the deck, and the hand continued as normal.

Sixth street then checked through to seventh, where Short checked again. Srur bet, being called by both opponents. Srur tabled trip deuces for the high part of the pot, while Short had made a low for the other half.
