Daly's Call Prompts Hellmuth's Soliloquy

Level 21
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Stud Hi-Lo

Phil Hellmuth completed and Jason Daly called.

Jason Daly: XxXx/38Q10/Xx
Phil Hellmuth: XxXx/7A108/Xx

Hellmuth bet on every street and Daly called each time.

"Deuces," Hellmuth said on seventh street after Daly called, prompting Daly to turn over 875 for a pair of eights.

"Eights, huh? Well Phil you did it," Hellmuth began to speak aloud "you tried to bluff the one maniac calling down every hand."

He continued to speak to himself while the rest of the table remained silent.

"I opened early and caught an ace on fourth street and he called with eights. Poker's just so easy, just collect the chips. The guy is trying to give it you every hand and you try to bluff him."

A couple of moments passed.

"It does suck to miss that one," admitted Hellmuth, earning a few nods from the table.

Stud Hi-Lo

Marshall Ragir: A3/A744/A All in
David Prager: QXx/Q652/9

Marshall Ragir bet on fourth street, and David Prager called. Ragir continued betting on fifth and sixth street, the last bet of which put him all-in. Ragir called with the slighty covering stack.

Prager needed a queen to survive against the two pair of Ragir, but Ragir made a full house on seventh to secure his double-up, rendering Prager's last card useless.

David Prager: 106/9AKJ/8
William Flachsbart: A7/43A5/6x

The next hand, Prager tossed his last chips in on third street with three to a flush, being looked up by William Flachsbart. Prager only had ace-high when all seven cards were dealt, however, and was eliminated by Flachsbart's striaght

"You really are at the top of your game, I turned the nuts," said McCormick as he tabled A753 for the nut flush. "That was a great check on the turn."

Jolly Can't Fold for the Price

Level 21

Omaha Hi-Lo

Robert Price raised under the gun, and Gus Hansen put in a three-bet in the hijack. Bryan Jolly called in the cutoff, and Price came along as well.

Price then led out on the 27Q flop, receiving two calls. Price fired again on the J turn, this time folding out Hansen. Jolly kept calling, however, and he remained doing so when Price flicked in a final bet on the A river.

Price showed AJ53 for a flush and the second nut low, while Jolly only tabled QQ before he gave up on the pot.

Dylan Smith: AQ93 All in
