Lim Falls Further Behind

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Following a button limp by Elan Lepovic with the 43, Brett Lim checked his option with the AK according to the live stream action. The flop came 852 and Lim check-folded to a bet, as his stack took yet another hit. With the end of the level coming in a few minutes, Lim may soon drop below 20 big blinds.

"I lost the hand on purpose," he joked with a rather dry voice.

Lepovic Gets Value From Trips

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Another limped pot to the A66 flop was checked by Elan Lepovic in the big blind and Brett Lim on the button as they headed to the Q turn. Lepovic now bet 3,000,000 with his 76 for trips, and Lim called with A5.

After the 5 river, Lepovic's bet of 10,000,000 was called and his recent profit vanished into thin air.

Lepovic Rivers a Straight

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Elan Lepovic raised to 4,000,000 from the button and was called by Brett Lim to find a flop of JKA.

Lepovic continued for 2,000,000 and was called, then checked back the 4 turn.

Lim checked the 2 but went into the tank with K9 after Lepovic bet 10,000,000. He eventually chose to fold and was right to do so as Lepovic hit a straight on the river with 53.

Brett Lim came along from the button with the 75 and Elan Lepovic checked his option in the big blind with the 98. The flop brought 963 and Lepovic check-raised from 2,000,000 to 5,500,000 for Lim to call with his double gutshot, which then hit a pair on the 5 turn.

Lepovic bet 13,000,000 into a pot of 15,800,000 and Lim pondered about his decision for half a minute to then call. Nothing changed with the K on the river and Lepovic checked, Lim reluctantly checked back and fell behind in the pecking order once again.

A recreational poker player has accused a well-known Los Angeles high-stakes cash game pro of angle shooting during Day 1c of the $1,500 Millionaire Maker at the 2025 World Series of Poker.

Brent Philbin, who has $226,155 in live earnings according to The Hendon Mob, took to both X and the r/poker subreddit to call out GGPoker ambassador Andy Tsai — better known as Andy Stacks — for what he claims was unethical behavior at the table. Tsai, a regular on streamed cash games like Live at the Bike and Hustler Casino Live, quickly found himself at the center of a heated exchange.

Small Pots After the Break

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

The start of the new level didn't bring a ton of action and the stack sizes remained nearly the same in favour of Brett Lim once again.

Lim limped in with the 109 and Elan Lepovic checked his option holding the A5. They checked the J42 flop to the J turn on which Lepovic check-called for 3,000,000 with his ace-high and gutshot wheel draw. Both then checked down the 10 on the river and Lim won the pot.

On the 9 river, Lepovic checked again, and Lim fired for 11,000,000. Lepovic called confidently with Q10 for two pair, but lost to Lim's trips with J9.
