Rowe Can't Call with Jacks

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jonathan Tare in hijack opened for 18,000 and Ish Sud in cutoff called. Hugh Rowe in the small blind three-bet to 34,000 and got both Tare and Sud to call.

All three saw the flop Q99. Rowe check-called Tare's bet of 50,000. Sud folded leaving the two players to go toe to toe.

The turn 5 was checked by both Rowe and Tare. On the river A, Rowe checked once again. Tare fired 130,000 sending Rowe to the tank. Finally he folded face up and saying, "That just sucks," as he showed JJ.

Tare scooped the pot and gave his cards to the dealer face down.

"Is Limping Allowed"

The flop was 7A2, and it was checked to Alcantara, who placed a bet of 26,000. Nguyen moved all in for 36,000, Hetherington folded, and Alcantara made the call for 1,000 more.
