Jeremy Trojand opened to 100,000 in middle position and was called on his left by Matthew Beck, Konstantinos Bouloutso also made the call from the big blind.
The flop rolled off the K♠3♣7♣ and Bouloutso took the initiative and bet 345,000 with only 135,000 behind. Trojans put in a pot-sized raise, Beck folded, and Bouloutso called.
Konstantinos Bouloutso: K♣9♦8♥8♣
Jeremy Trojand: A♣Q♣Q♥5♦
The board completed with the 5♠ and the 3♥, with both players missing their flush draws, Bouloutso’s pair of kings was good enough for a full double.
Jorge Ufano was ousted from the tournament in 26th place, his best finish in a WSOP event.
Ufano got all-in on the flop against Aaron Mermelstein, who had top-two pair with A♥J♦5♣3♣ on a flop of 6♥A♣J♥.
Ufano had only a pair of kings. The turn and river of 6♦9♠ made no difference.
Ufano took home $20,070 for his effort, just missing out on the draw for reseating for the final three tables.
David Sorrells limped in early position, and Anthony Hu raised to 135,000 on the button. Jake White went all-in, in the small blind, for 155,000, and Sorrells folded.
Hu flicked in the call.
Jake White: 6♠5♣3♠3♣
Anthony Hu: A♦Q♦Q♥6♥
It looked like good news when the wheel spun 4♥6♦7♠, flopping a straight for White.
Always a sweat, the turn brought the Q♠, giving Hu a boat draw that completed with the 4♦, eliminating White.
Noel Rodriguez opened the hijack to 75,000. Ren Lin called all-in for 70,000 from the button, and Chad Eveslage called in the big blind.
On the A♥5♣3♥ flop, Eveslage check-called a bet of 90,000 from Rodriguez.
Eveslage check-folded to a 300,000 bet on the Q♠ turn.
Ren Lin: A♠J♠10♠4♠
Noel Rodriguez: A♦K♦Q♦5♥
Lin had two gutters but was unable to connect on the 5♠ river as Rodriguez filled up to eliminate Lin.

Blinds will be 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 big blind ante when play resumes.
Noel Rodriguez opened the action on the button with a raise to 65,000, and Ren Lin made the call from the big blind.
Both players tapped the table after seeing a flop of J♣9♣Q♦.
The turn brought the 7♥, and Lin leaned forward with a loud “Pot!”, pushing out a bet of 205,000. Rodriguez didn’t hesitate too long before making the call.
When the 5♠ hit the river, Lin announced “Pot!” once more and fired 615,000 into the middle. Rodriguez went into the tank, but after a lengthy pause, he tossed in the call.
“Good call!” Lin admitted as he turned over A♥10♣10♠2♣ for just a pair of tens. Rodriguez tabled K♥K♣J♦9♥ for top two pair to scoop the pot.
Sonny Franco got his remaining chips in the middle against Anthony Hu on a flop reading 2♣7♠4♠.
Anthony Hu: A♠8♠6♦5♦
Sonny Franco: K♦K♥10♥9♦
The turn was a dagger to Franco as it fell the A♥, leaving him only drawing to a single king in the deck.
The 4♦ was of no consequence and Franco was sent to the pay outs.
