Maksim Pisarenko: 9x6x8x / 5x5x4xKx
David Funkhouser: XxXx / KxAxQx7x / Xx

Maksim Pisarenko completed and David Funkhouser called from the bring-in. Pisarenko raised over Funkhouser's bet on fourth and he called. Funkhouser then check-called on fifth before betting on sixth street. Pisarenko called and then seventh street checked through.

Pisarenko tabled his down cards to make a 9-8-6-5-4. Funkhouser sucked in his cheeks, turned his head to the side and mucked his board. He was left with 57,000.

Christian Roberts: 7x5x / AxKx8x7x / 10x

In the next hand, Funkhouser and Christian Roberts exchanged raises for the former to be all-in and at risk. Roberts made T-8-7-5-A on seventh. Funkhouser had a jack-six on sixth and needed to catch well on his final down card to survive. He peeled a 9x to make a nine-six to take in the pot.

Funkhouser then dragged in a small pot on fourth street against Ryutaro Suzuki on the following deal.
