Shak Hits The Rail
Level 12
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Eric Wasserson kicked the action off with a limp from under the gun. Dan Shak followed suit, limping one seat to his left. Dylan Weisman put an end to the limping, raising to 33,000, and when action folded back to the limpers, they both called.
When the dealer revealed a flop of 8♣Q♣9♠, Wasserson and Shak maneuvered their stacks into the middle, and Weisman returned his cards to the dealer.
Dan Shak: 9♣8♦7♥6♠
Eric Wasserson: A♣10♠10♣7♣
The turn 5♥ kept Shak in the lead, but the river 6♥ gave Wasserson the checkmark, rivering a higher straight.
