Ivey Asks For It All

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

When action folded to Phil Ivey in middle position, he limped in. This encouraged the small blind to do the same, but Evan Krentzman, in the big blind, was having none of it, raising to 480,000.

Ivey called, and the small blind folded.

Both Krentzman and Ivey checked the J49 flop, but when the 5 turn was dealt, Krentzman slid out 1,200,000, a pot-sized bet. Ivey called to see one more card.

The river A saw sparks fly. Krentzman continued for 1,500,000, but Ivey responded by moving all in. Krentzman didn't waste any time folding, and Ivey pulled in a huge pot.
