Jesse Yaginuma limped with K♠8♠ in the small blind and Josh Reichard with 7♦4♥ checked taking them to the flop.
Both players checked the flop 8♦A♠9♠. The turn 9♥ fell and Yaginuma bet 2,000,000 which was enough to make Reichard fold.
The action folded around to Josh Reichard in the small blind, who shoved. Jonah Labranche looked down at his cards in the big blind and snap called for his stack of 22,400,000.

Labranche had picked up the goods, but needed to fade some outs after the K♦4♠8♦ flop gave Reichard a pair. Luckily for Labranche, the 5♣J♦ runout kept his aces in the lead, and earned him a double-up.
James Carroll on the button looked down and saw A♦K♣ and started the action with a 5,000,000 bet. Josh Reichard in the big blind three-bet to 28,700,000 holding A♠9♣.
Carroll immediately announced an all-in and Reichard called taking them to showdown. Carroll had Reichard dominated and it stayed that way through the board that ran 10♦6♠5♦10♠8♦. Carroll scooped the pot for a full double-up.

Ortega had the best of it with his ace, and kept his lead through the 4♦6♦6♣ flop. However, a 5♦ on the turn gave Tanouye a pair, but also gave Ortega flush and straight draws.
A dramatic 7♥ landed on the river, which completed Ortega's straight and earned him a double-up, while leaving Tanouye with just two big blinds.
Josh Reichard with K♠9♣ in middle position raised to 4,000,000 and Jeffrey Tanouye on the button called leaving 200,000 left holding Q♣10♦. James Carroll in the big blind joined in with a call, holding A♥5♠.
The flop came 7♠J♠Q♥ and with action passed to him, Tanouye, who hit the board, put in his remaining chips in. Carroll got out of the way, but Reichard made the call.
The turn 4♥ fell and the 7♦ river maintained Tanouye's lead allowing him to continue his tournament run.

A J♠ on the river improved Tanouye to a better two pair, but he was still behind to the full house of Reichard. Tanouye tapped the table and Reichard shoved, putting Tanouye to the test. After some time in the tank, Tanouye elected to fold, preserving his stack of 21,000,000.
