Reichard Wakes Up with Aces

Level 41 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Jeffrey Tanouye looked down and saw AK in the hole. He started the action with a 4,500,000 bet. Josh Reichard in the big blind woke up to AA and just flat called taking them to the flop.

Reichard checked the flop 53Q and Tanouye continued with 2,500,000. Reichard raised to 6,500,000 sending Tanouye to the tank.

After a few seconds, Tanouye made the call to see the next street. The turn 4 fell prompting Reichard to go all in. Tanouye gave a quick look at his hand and folded without hesitation.

Josh Reichard limped in from the small blind and Jeffrey Tanouye checked his option in the big blind.

On the 253 flop, Reichard bet 3,000,000 and Tanouye raised to 6,500,000. Reichard then shoved, and Tanouye called off the extra 7,300,000 he had behind.

Jeffrey Tanouye: 73 All in
Josh Reichard: 95

Tanouye made second pair, but he was trailing to the top pair of Reichard. An 8 on the turn changed nothing, and Tanouye was eliminated in fifth when the K hit the river.

Carroll's Snowmen Melt Away Reichard's Chip Lead

Level 42 : Blinds 1,200,000/2,400,000, 2,400,000 ante
James Carroll
James Carroll

In the first hand after the break, Josh Reichard shoved and James Carroll quickly called for his stack of 62,600,000.

James Carroll: 88 All in
Josh Reichard: A6

Carroll had the Snowmen, and found a third on the 83J flop, improving him to a set. The 3 on the turn gave Carroll an unbeatable full house, though some of Reichard's rail momentarily thought his flush draw was good. The meaningless K hit the river, and Carroll stormed into the chip lead.
