Level 41 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Jacques Ortega
Jacques Ortega

Jeffrey Tanouye shoved from the small blind and Jacques Ortega called from the big blind with a slightly shorter stack of around 17,400,000.

Jacques Ortega: A3 All in
Jeffrey Tanouye: K5

Ortega had the best of it with his ace, and kept his lead through the 466 flop. However, a 5 on the turn gave Tanouye a pair, but also gave Ortega flush and straight draws.

A dramatic 7 landed on the river, which completed Ortega's straight and earned him a double-up, while leaving Tanouye with just two big blinds.

Jeffrey Tanouye: A9 All in

Tanouye paired his ace on the flop and barring a brutal runout, he would be right back in the mix. The 3 on the turn did lock it up for Tanouye, and the A river confirmed his double-up.
