James Kohl opened from under the gun, and Jessica Vierling called from the button. Raymond Power moved all in from the big blind for his remaining 145,000, and Kohl called. Vierling asked for a count, before also calling.
The flop came A♦2♦4♣, and action was checked by Kohl and Vierling on the 6♦ turn and 8♦ river.

Power showed the seven of diamonds as he had picked up the flush on the river, tripling his stack.
Vierling remarked, "How did you win that?" as she showed king-jack offsuit. Kohl quickly flashed his hand, and it was mucked by the dealer.

Play was halted on Table 509 for a full 14 minutes over a dispute involving Wai Kit Lo and Ryan Gibbs.
Lo pushed all in, Gibbs made the call.

The runout came to a dramatic finish 4♦J♠7♦8♠10♦, as Gibbs' set of jacks were toppled by Lo's gutshot straight on the river. The dealer inadvertently began to push the pot to Gibbs.
Lo, halted that, but before the dealer had finished pushing the pot to him, Gibbs had removed some chips from it.
Gibbs says he was simply taking his preflop raise back and making change to pay Lo the nearly 400,000 owed. Lo believed chips that were his were taken. He even had a video that he said supported his claim.
The tournament director didn't see it his way, however. After much debate, a second floor person was called in, and the decision was made to have Gibbs pay Lo 385,000, and if WSOP video showed he was due more, then stacks would be adjusted.
Play resumed.
Later, there was another five-minute discussion when the tournament director came to tell Lo that no extra chips were taken.
The director told both players that the issue was dead and a penalty would be imposed if either brought it up again.

Matt Glantz raised to 125,000 and Praveen Anguru responded with a raise to 300,000. Glantz went all in and Anguru beat him in the pot with a call.

In the hand after tripling her stack, Jessica Vierling found herself in a hand against Kyeongrim Shin.
Shin moved all in for his last 240,000 from middle position and action folded around to Vierling in the big blind. Vierling made a quick call and the players went to showdown.

Action was followed from when Leo Margets jammed the small blind for around 700,000, Jessica Vierling called for her remaining stack of 420,000 from under the gun, and action was on Raymond Power, who covered them both, to make a decision from middle position.
Power called, and the players flipped their cards.

Margets was ahead and remained so on the 4♥6♠7♦ flop.
Vierling took the lead with a set on the Q♠ turn, and she held on the 4♠ river, tripling up her stack.
Margets took the side pot with her aces, and Power lost a huge chunk of his stack.

Won Lee raised to 50,000 from under the gun. Jareth East decided to three-bet to 110,000 from the button. Lee then went all in, and East made the call and was ahead.

Johann Tiemann raised to 125,000 on the button and Antoine Goutard put in a raise to 425,000 from the blind. Tiemann went all in, covering Goutard, and the decision was on the latter.
With only 140,000 behind, it became evident that Goutard was sweating the $1,100 pay jump. Tiemann made mention that he didn't mind, but eventually grew restless.
"I'm here to have a good time, I don't play professionally," said Tiemann, who let another minute pass before calling the clock.
When the floor saw the amount of chips Goutard had behind, they only gave him a 5-second clock, Goutard put in the call and it proved to be a set up.
