Antti Marttinen potted to 480,000 on the button, and Bryce Yockey made the call. On a flop of 5♥7♥3♦ Marttinen shoved his remaining 365,000. Yockey had his cards on their backs before Marttinen's chips were in.
Antti Marttinen: K♠Q♠Q♥9♥
Bryce Yockey: A♣J♥8♦3♥
Yockey was looking for any ace, jack, eight, three, or heart, and the 2♦J♣ runout rivered him the win.
Matt Vengrin opened up the action to 320,000 from under the gun. Tomer Daniel shoved from middle position, and Vengrin put in the chips when he was folded to.
Tomer Daniel: A♦10♣7♦5♣
Matt Vengrin: A♥Q♣5♦2♠
Daniel got it in bad, and it stayed that way as the board ran out 3♥9♣6♥Q♦Q♠ He was unable to be saved by a gutshot on the river, and is the first to vacate the official final table.
Action folded round to the blinds, and Punnat Punsri potted to 360,000 from the small. Jason Stockfish woke up with a hand in the big blind and shoved, putting himself all in for his remaining 935,000. The two went off to a runout as Punsri snap-called.
Jason Stockfish: Q♠Q♥4♥4♣
Punnat Punsri: A♥A♣7♠4♠
Stockfish was drawing only to a set or a flush, and had outs covered by Punsri. The board ran out 10♣J♣9♦5♦J♥ sending him home in ninth.
Giuseppe Pantaleo limped from the hijack before Jacob Snider raised to 450,000 from the button. When it got back to Pantaleo, he called.
Pantaleo check-called a bet of 750,000 from Snider on the 3♥5♥9♠ flop.
When the J♦ appeared on the turn, Pantaleo jammed for 1,460,000. Snider called.
Giuseppe Pantaleo: K♠9♦8♥7♠
Jacob Snider: A♥9♥7♦6♦
Both players had a pair of nines, but Snider's kicker was better. The J♥ river improved Snider to a flush, sending Pantaleo out in 10th. This meant the tournament was down to the final table.
Catching the action with around 700,000 in the pot on a flop of 8♦2♦K♣. Matt Vengrin bet 200,000 from the small blind before Jason Lang raised to 1,300,000 from the big blind with just 100,000 behind. Vengrin jammed, and Lang called.
Jason Lang: A♦Q♠10♦3♠
Matt Vengrin: K♠J♦9♣8♠
Lang had a flush draw against the top two pair of Vengrin. The A♣ turn gave Lang some more outs, but the K♥ river improved Vengrin to a boat, sending Lang out in 11th.
Day 3 of Event #54: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha begins at noon local time. Eleven players will make their way to Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas to fight for a share of the $2,076,210 prize pool that is a culmination of 1,564 buy-ins that were made during Day 1.
The first-place prize of $306,791 will certainly be on the minds of many players, especially chip leader Matt Vengrin, who comes into the day with 7,620,000 chips. Completing the top three are Punnat Punsri (5,305,000) in second and Matthew Beck (4,790,000) just behind in third.
Punsri is still on the hunt to leave the “best without a bracelet” club, and after a brutal third-place finish in the $1,500 Shootout, he’ll be hoping to improve on that today and go all the way to the end.
The same can be said for Beck, who has already cashed in three pot-limit Omaha events this summer, and will be taking home a career-high score today no matter the outcome. That being said, he’ll certainly believe he can take the whole thing down, along with the top prize of $425,689

The remaining competitors will take their seats in Horseshoe Silver, as play begins at Level 28, with blinds at 50,000/100,000, with a 100,000 big blind ante. Play is not scheduled to end until there is a sole survivor, so a bracelet will be handed out to one of the players who bagged up last night.
Stay tuned as PokerNews brings you all of the action from the final day of competition, with live updates starting with cards in the air, and ending with a champion.
