But Not the Perfect Runout...
Level 14
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
On a board of 4♥6♦2♠ with 22,000 in the middle, Christopher Costa ended up getting his full 125,000 into the middle, and was called by Daniel Clemente with the covering stack.
Christopher Costa: 9♣8♦7♠5♣
Daniel Clemente: 7♦7♣6♣6♥
Costa had a wrap, and used it to turn the nut straight when the 5♠ came in. Clemente, with top set, was looking for a board pairing, and got it as the 4♣ peeled off on the river. Incredulous, Costa got up and said "Wow! That was the perfect flop!" unsure as to just how he had lost the hand.
