Filippi Doubles Through Yockey

Bryce Yockey raised to 105,000 from the hijack and Amnon Filippi defended out of the big blind.

Filippi checked the 2♠Q♣J♦ flop and Yockey bet 125,000. Filippi check-raised to 400,000, which Yockey called.

Filippi jammed for 490,000 on the 7♣ turn. Yockey called and the cards were revealed.

Filippi had a set against the straight draw of Yockey. The 2♣ appeared on the river to give Filippi a boat, and he doubled up.

Vengrin bet 50,000 on the 2♦3♦Q♥ flop, and only Lang called.

The 2♠ turn checked through for the 8♦ to fall on the river. Vengrin bet 150,000, which got Lang to fold.

Erik Perez raised to 105,000 on the button and Matthew Beck three-bet to around 400,000 from the small blind. After the big blind folded, Perez called for his last 200,000.

Perez didn't find much help on the Q♦7♣2♦ flop, but the K♣ turn improved him to a pair and a lot of outs to win the pot. The 7♥ wasn't one of them and all of Perez's chips were sent over to Beck.

Michael Trivett raised the pot to 105,000 from early position and was called by Sean Troha in the big blind.

The flop came 5♠2♦K♦, Troha checked and Trivett bet out for 75,000, which sent Troha into the tank, and he eventually decided to re-pot to 480,000, which effectively put Trivett all in. Trivett called.

The 7♣ turn checked through for the 10♥ to appear on the river. Vengrin bet 75,000, prompting a quick fold from Stockfish.

Nut Flush For Punsri as Andia Exits

Jorge Paredes Andia was already all-in for his last few chips with Punnat Punsri and Amnon Filippi both still in the pot. Both active players checked the 3♦7♥K♥ flop to the 3♥ turn, where Filippi check-called a bet of 50,000 from Punsri.

An 8♥ hit the river and again Filippi check-called after Punsri fired 100,000.

"Nut flush," said Punsri as he flipped A♥9♥9♣Xx.

Filippi couldn't believe it as he rolled over A♦K♦Q♥2♥ for the second-nut flush and forfeited the side pot over to Punsri. Andia needed a full house or better to stay alive, but his hand was no good and quickly hit the muck.

Rodriguez Falls to Vengrin

Matt Vengrin limped in from early position and Amnon Filippi also limped on the button. Juan Rodriguez completed from the small blind, and Sean Troha checked in the big blind.

On the 7♣A♠2♠ flop, Rodriguez and Troha checked, before Vengrin bet 50,000. Filippi called and then Rodriguez made it 425,000, leaving himself just a few chips behind. Vengrin then planted a huge stack of blue chips, worth 100,000 each, into the pot.

"Wow! So sick!" shouted Filippi, who didn't like the spot he was on and eventually announced a fold. A few seconds later, Rodriguez called off his remaining 60,000 he had behind.

Rodriguez's flush draw was dead, but he did have a straight draw that he could hit to survive. The J♦ on the turn improved Vengrin to a set, and the 6♣ on the river bricked out, meaning Rodriguez hit the rail.

Robert Nehorayan got it all in preflop for his remaining 260,000, as he and Punnat Punsri went off to a runout.

The flop was perfectly curated for a sweat, as it came down J♣8♣10♠. Punsri had flopped the absolute nuts with a redraw to Broadway, but was still a two-to-one dog as Nehorayan had an open-ended straight draw, a flush draw, and outs to a full house with his flopped two pair. Incredibly, he missed every out on the 2♥4♠ runout, and Punsri accumulated his chips.

"Flop the nuts and you're an underdog" was announced, as the table chuckled.
