"Tides turn quickly," Ruben said, as he fell to the bottom of the counts.

"Max is a beast. I knew since Day 2 he was going to get heads up," Tong added.

"We're lucky it's one of us," Ruben replied.

Ruben checked, producing a bet from Tong. That was answered by a raise from Ruben, and Tong took some time before sliding his cards into the muck.

"You're a stud, Max!" his rail yelled.

Ruben called to see the 3♠ turn, where both players checked. The dealer flipped over the Q♥ river, and Ruben led out with a bet.

Schindler did not take long to slide his cards into the muck, and Ruben picked up the pot.

Brad Ruben raised in the small blind and Maximilian Schindler called in the big blind.

Ruben continued with a bet on the Q♦3♥3♥ flop and Schindler called. Ruben checked the 6♠ turn, Schindler bet, and Ruben folded.

Ruben raised on the button the next hand and Kristopher Tong called.

The flop came Q♠10♣7♣ and Ruben bet. Tong called and they checked down the 5♠ turn and Q♦ river. Tong showed 4♣4♦ and Ruben mucked, saying he had king-jack.

Omaha Hi-Lo

The game then switched to Omaha Hi-Lo as Ruben opened again on the button. "Three bets," Schindler said in the small blind.

"No bets," Tong added as he folded in the big blind, but Ruben called. Schindler checked to Ruben on the J♠10♦4♥ flop and he bet. Schindler called and they checked the K♣ turn.

Schindler bet on the 3♥ river and Ruben called. Schindler then showed A♠A♦8♦5♠ and took the pot with his aces.

"Let's go! Maximum value!" his rail shouted out.

"He could've bet the turn," Ruben turned around and told them.

The flop came J♦7♥7♠ and Tong bet. Ruben called and the 9♣ fell on the turn. Tong bet again, but Ruben came back with a raise.

"Boat already?" Tong asked, as he took a minute before folding. Ruben then told him he had a straight.

"This guy's a bulldozer," Tong said. A tournament official then arrived at the table to color up some of Ruben's rapidly expanding stack.

"Racks and racks for all his hard work," Jason Mercier said.

"It wasn't really work. Just good cards," Ruben replied.

Tong led out with a bet on the 10♥10♣8♣ flop, and Ruben stuck in the call. Schindler got out of the way before the K♥ hit the turn.

Another lead from Tong was met with a call from Ruben, and the 4♦ river completed the board. Tong checked, making the call after Ruben fired one last bet.

Ruben showed A♦10♠6♥4♥ for a full house, claiming another sizeable pot as Tong mucked.
