Tong Gets His Blue Chips Back

Level 23 : Limits 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Kristopher Tong: XxXx/A3J4/Xx
Jason Mercier: XxXx/J572/Xx
Maximilian Schindler: XxXx/3K - folded on fourth street

The table had been teasing Kristopher Tong about being the only player with blue 100,000 chips and not changing them out.

"Complete with a blue," Tong then announced as he put in one of them.

"Words never uttered before," Jason Mercier said as the rest of the table burst out in laughter. Maximilian Schindler and Mercier ended up calling.

Tong left his blue chip in the middle on fourth as he announced another bet. Mercier called, while Schindler folded.

Tong then bet on fifth, Mercier raised, and Tong called with three blue chips. Mercier then bet on sixth and seventh as Tong called him down.

"Boat," Tong announced, showing 433.

"Boat? I thought you said low," Mercier replied as he turned over A84 to chop the pot. The dealer then asked Tong if he wanted his blue chips back as she divided up the pot.

"I'm the shortest stack and the only one with blue chips. As long as they keep coming back," Tong said.
