Chino Rheem Eliminated in 14th Place ($10,495)
Limits: 40,000/80,000
A-5 Triple Draw
Chino Rheem raised under the gun. Chris Klodnicki three-bet on the button, and Rheem called. Rheem drew two cards on the first draw, while Klodnicki needed only one card.
After Rheem check-called a bet, each player drew one card on the second draw. Rheem check-called another bet by Klodnicki, after which he took one more card on the final draw. Klodnicki stood pat, tossing out another bet after Rheem had checked.
Rheem slowly squeezed his card, but was not satisfied, and folded, leaving himself 65,000.
Rheem was in the big blind the next hand, and called all in when Klodnicki raised in the cutoff. On the first draw, they both took two cards. On the second draw, Rheem still needed two, but Klodnicki remained pat.
Rheem still exchanged two cards on the final draw, and both players tabled their holdings.
Chino Rheem: 6x4x3x
Chris Klodnicki: 8x5x4x2xAx
"Alive," said Rheem as he peeled a 2x as his first card. "Dead," he stated as he paired up with another 2x as his second card, spelling the end of his tournament run.
