Claassen Takes from Johns

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Ian Johns raised from the cutoff, and Christopher Claassen three-bet from the big blind. Johns four-bet and Claassen called, drawing one while Johns stood pat.

Action repeated itself after the first draw with Claassen check-calling a bet from Johns and taking one while Johns stood pat again. After the second draw, Claassen check-called another bet, once again drawing one before Johns stood pat.

With no draws remaining, Claassen bet, and Johns called. Classen showed a ten-badugi with 10A85, and Johns mucked his hand.

Le Eclipses Six Figures

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Action was picked up in a three-way pot between Phillip Hui in the big blind, Nam Le in first position, and Donny Rubinstein in the hijack.

Hui drew three on the first drawing round while Le and Rubinstein both drew two. Hui checked over to Le who bet and Rubinstein called while Hui folded.

Both players drew one on the second draw and Le bet a second time over to Rubinstein who called.

Le stood pat while Rubinstein drew one and Le check-called a bet from Rubinstein.

"Rough nine," said Rubinstein but Le could beat that holding 8x7x6x4x2x for an eight-seven. He raked in the pot and crossed the six figures mark.

Op-Ed: Is Martin Kabrhel's Act Good for Poker and the WSOP?

Level 5 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

No player has commanded more attention at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) than Martin Kabrhel, partly for his strong performance, but mostly for his antics.

The clock has been called on the Czech high roller more often this summer than the Paris Hotel parking garage attendant, and he's been yapping away so much at the poker tables that even Daniel Negreanu had enough during a recent final table appearance.

Regardless of my or your take on Kabrhel's behavior, he has people talking about poker. He's bringing attention to the 2025 WSOP, and many seem to be enjoying the Kabrhel video clips shared on social media.
