The biggest ever version of the WSOP $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw event drew a total of 463 entrants to generate a prize pool worth $1,030,175. Of the 133 returning players today, only 70 of them will be guaranteed some part of that purse with all eyes on the $208,552 to be awarded to the winner.

Leading the way is two-time WSOP bracelet winner David Prociak who begins the day with a sizable lead of 370,000. Rounding out the top three are Mark Klecan (295,000) and three-time WSOP bracelet winner Greg Mueller (293,000). Others that survived include defending champion Patrick Moulder (35,500), former champion Christopher Vitch (228,000), Renan Bruschi (221,000), Benny Glaser (197,000), Yuval Bronshtein (171,000), current Player of the Year front-runner Scott Bohlman (141,000), Allen Kessler (131,000), and actor James Woods (130,000).
Players will return to the Horseshoe at 1 p.m. with play beginning at Level 13. Blinds will begin at 2,000/4,000, with limits at 4,000/8,000. Levels will last one hour each and there will be a break after every two levels of play, with a one-hour dinner break occurring after six levels of play.

Tournament staff has announced that the first game is going to be 2-7 Triple Draw.
2-7 Triple Draw
Luiz Hota Neto raised on the button and in the big blind, Felipe Ramos called.
Ramos drew three on the first draw while Neto drew two with action checking through.
The second draw saw Ramos pitch one while Neto drew two and Neto called the bet from Ramos.
On the final draw, both players drew one and Ramos bet to earn a quick call from Neto.
He tabled 8x6x4x3x2x for an eight-six which was good for the pot.

Stephen O'Dwyer opened from the cutoff and John Monnette three-bet from the small blind. O'Dwyer called and both players drew one.
After the first draw Monette bet and O'Dwyer called. Both players drew one, checked and drew one again.
With no draws remaining Monnette checked, O'Dwyer bet, Monnette check-raised and O'Dwyer folded.

A-5 Triple Draw
Action was picked up on the first betting round in a pot between two-time WSOP bracelet winner Yuval Bronshtein in the small blind, Kyle Miholich in the cutoff, and Devin Looney on the button.
Bronshtein checked over to Miholich, who bet, and Looney called, while Bronshtein raised. Miholich raised again, and Looney called, prompting one last raise from Bronshtein, which saw Miholich call to put himself all in, and Looney called behind.
Everyone drew one on the second draw which saw Bronshtein check-call a bet from Looney.
On the final draw, Bronshtein and Miholich drew one while Looney stood pat and Bronshtein bet, prompting Looney to raise. Bronshtein clicked it back which sent Looney into the tank. After a some time in the tank while squirming uncomfortably in his chair, he called.

Miholich squeezed his last card, though he was drawing dead, and Bronshtein scooped a sizable pot with number one.

David Rodriguez opened from the button, Chris Brewer called in the small blind, and Joshua Thatcher called from the big blind. Brewer and Thatcher took two each while Rodriguez drew one.
After the first draw, Brewer checked and Thatcher bet. Rodriguez called, Brewer raised and Thatcher made it three bets. Rodriguez folded and Brewer called, drawing one while Thatcher stood pat.
Brewer check-folded to another bet from Thatcher after the second draw.
