Matusow Takes Out Schneider

Level 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tom Schneider from under the gun and Mike Matusow from the cutoff were tangled in a pot with 13,700 in the middle on the turn.

With the board reading 101045, Schneider was all-in for his final 5,500 and Matusow made the call.

Tom Schneider: 9652 All in
Mike Matusow: AAJ6

Schneider had just a pair of fives and a gutshot while Matusow had aces. A third 10 fell on the river to give Matusow a full house, tens full of aces, while Schneider was playing just the nine-six high with trip tens as he hit the exit.

Nedelcu Catches Mascarenhas's Bluff

Level 5

No-Limit Hold'em

Narcis Nedelcu opened to 1,300 from under the gun and was called by Rodrigo Mascarenhas in the small blind and Bob Slezak in the big blind.

On the AJ9 flop, Nedelcu continued for a healthy size of 3,000, Mascarenhas called, and Slezak folded.

Nedelcu fired again for 5,500 on the 4 turn and Mascarenhas stuck around with a check-call.

On the 6 river, Mascarenhas immediately jammed for his final 5,900 and Nedelcu sigh-called.

Rodrigo Mascarenhas: A6 All in
Narcis Nedelcu: JJ

Neither player held a single heart as Mascarenhas made two pair which was no good against the set of Nedelcu as he hit the exit.

Livingston Doubles His Short Stack

Level 6

2-7 Triple Draw

Gabriel Ramos raised from the cutoff and Alex Livingston called in the big blind.

Both players drew two and then Ramos raised a bet from Livingston on the first draw. Livingston made it three bets to go and Ramos called.

On the second draw, Livingston stood pat and immediately put out a bet before Ramos could draw one. Ramos called.

Livingston remained pat and bet his last 100 on the third draw, while Ramos drew one and called.

Alex Livingston: 8x6x5x4x3x All in
Gabriel Ramos: 7x4x3x2x

Ramos peeled a 3x — pairing his three to award Livingston the double up.

Small Pickup for Gibert

Level 6

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Brian Kirschner raised to 1,500 from middle position and was three-bet to 3,500 by Dwight Gilbert on the button. Action folded back to Kirschner, who called.

Kirschner drew two and Gilbert stood pat. Both players checked down and Gilbert revealed 9x8x7x5x3x for a nine.

"I almost had you," Kirschner said before sending his cards into the muck.

PLO Giveth and PLO Taketh

Level 6

Pot-Limit Omaha

Yuebin Guo from the cutoff, Charles Thomas from the button, and Oliver Tot from the small blind were tangled in a pot-with 24,100 in the middle preflop.

On the Q104 flop, all the money found its way into the middle as Guo was all-in for an even 27,000, Tot was at risk for around 30,000, and Thomas covered from the button.

Yuebin Guo: AQQ3 All in
Oliver Tot: KQ86 All in
Charles Thomas: KJJ3

Guo had top set, Thomas had a gutter and a flush draw with jacks, and Tot had just top pair.

The board ran out K4 as Tot won the small side pot with kings and queens while Guo filled up to scoop the massive main pot.

Mather Puts a Dent in Rast's Stack

Level 6

No-Limit Hold'em

Bob Mather raised to 1,600 from the cutoff and was called by Brian Rast in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 4AK flop and then Mather called an 1,100 bet from Rast on the 5 turn.

The J completed the board and Rast bet 1,600. Mather looked him up and Rast turned over KQ for a pair of kings.

Mather tabled A10 for a pair of aces to claim the pot.

Despite the small hit, Rast, who took down the $10k Razz Championship just a few days ago, has had an excellent day so far and sits with approximately 115,000.

Stacey Doubles Through Ireland

Level 6

Pot-Limit Omaha

Anderson Ireland from the hijack and Patrick Stacey from the small blind were heads-up to the JJ48 board with around 18,000 in the middle.

Stacey checked, Ireland bet 15,000, and Stacey jammed for 20,600.

"I think I might be dead," lamented Ireland before he put in the call.

Patrick Stacey: AAQ6 All in
Anderson Ireland: A1093

Fortunately for Ireland, he was not dead with an open-ender and the nut flush draw against the naked aces of Stacey. Ireland had many outs to eliminate Stacey but the A river was not one of them as Stacey made top boat for the full double, but Ireland retains a healthy stack.
