Barthe Busts Two

Level 20
Nicolas Barthe
Nicolas Barthe

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Nicolas Barthe raised to 25,000 under the gun. John Centeno moved in his last 47,000 in the hijack, and big blind Philip Jaffe committed his 76,000 as well. Barhte called, covering both.

Jaffe stood pat on the draw, as did Barthe. Centeno drew one card, and the players showed down.

John Centeno: 6x5x4x2x All in
Philip Jaffe: 9x8x7x6x2x All in
Nicolas Barthe: 9x7x6x4x3x

Barthe's nine-seven already bested Jaffe's nine-eight, and Centeno drew a 10x for an inferior ten-low. Barthe eliminated two players just before the field went on a break.

Level 20
Brian Yoon
Brian Yoon

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Brian Yoon opened the hijack to 22,000 before Michael Wolff three-bet to 60,000 from the small blind. With the action back on Yoon, he elected to jam for 140,000 total and Wolff called.

Wolff stood pat before Yoon had a second look at his cards and elected to pat behind. Wolff tabled 7x6x5x4x2x for number four and Yoon flashed a nine-eight as he exited.

Vengrin Falls To Hubbard

Level 20

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-way pot between Matt Vengrin in the big blind, Stephen Hubbard in late position, and John Bunch on the button with 45,000 in the center.

The flop rolled out J39 and Vengrin bet 30,000 which saw Hubbard raise to 135,000. Bunch went into the tank for a long time before deciding to toss his hand into the muck and Vengrin called all in for 48,000 total.

Matt Vengrin: KJ83 All in
Stephen Hubbard: 10997

Hubbard's set was good for the pot as the board ran out 2Q and the WSOP bracelet winner took his leave from the tournament.

At another table, Oliver Tot was eliminated from the tournament.

Bach Busts Hoenig With Broadway

Level 20

Pot-Limit Omaha

David Bach opened from the cutoff and was three-bet to 55,000 by Ryan Hoenig in the small blind. Bach called.

Hoenig bet all but a single t-1,000 chip on the 10A7 flop and Bach raised to put him all in.

"You got anything?" Hoenig asked, which got a laugh from everyone at the table.

"Someone bust!" Hoenig shouted.

After a bit of tanking, Hoenig called all in and a showdown was held.

Ryan Hoenig: AK106All in
David Bach: KQJ10

The Q turn filled Bach's Broadway draw, but Hoenig still had outs to a full house with his two pair.

It wasn't meant to be, however, as the Q river bricked out — eliminating Hoenig late in the evening.

Centeno Calls Wickersheim's All-In

Level 19

No-Limit Hold'em

Colin Wickersheim open-jammed his last 61,000 in the cutoff. John Centeno called on the button, and Fu Wong did so in the small blind.

A flop of 622 was put on the table. Wong checked, Centeno bet 45,000, and Wong laid his hand down to force a showdown.

Colin Wickersheim: 77 All in
John Centeno: QQ

Wickersheim's sevens were in dire shape. Centeno's ladies remained best on the 4 turn and K river, and Wickersheim was consequently sent to the rail.

Tsonev Taken Out as Sternheimer Scoops Three-Way All-In

Level 19
Simeon Tsonev
Simeon Tsonev

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Philip Sternheimer raised to 20,000 in the hijack. Simeon Tsonev then three-bet jammed for 143,000 on the button, and Matt Vengrin also moved all in in the small blind.

Vengrin had Sternheimer covered, and Sternheimer called after he spent some time in the tank. Vengrin stood pat on the draw, as did Sternheimer. Tsonev elected to draw one card, and the players showed their cards.

Vengrin showed 8x6x5x4x2x for a pat eight, but Sternheimer had found a pat seven with 7x6x5x3x2x.

"I'm drawing dead," Tsonev claimed as he eventually tabled 9x6x4x3x2x. Tsonev took his exit, seeing Sternheimer ship the gigantic pot of nearly seven figures.

Godena Gone

Level 19

2-7 Triple Draw

After all three draws had taken place, a sizable pot was in the middle between Robert Wells in the hijack and Jarryd Godena in the cutoff. Wells then put Godena all-in for his last 25,000, and Godena called after mulling it over for a bit.

Wells tabled 8x7x5x4x3x, and Godena stood up, flashing a jack-low before heading to the exit.

Tsonev Flushes Abrams to the Rail

Level 18

Limit Hold'em

After multiple bets went in preflop, Simeon Tsonev from the cutoff and Scott Abrams from the button went heads-up to the 1095 flop. Tsonev bet, Abrams raised all-in, and Tsonev called.

Scott Abrams: 88 All in
Simeon Tsonev: KK

Abrams was in rough shape with the underpair as tablemate Yuval Bronshtein called for a jack, which came on the J turn as Abrams picked up an open-ender. The river was the 8 as Abrams made a set. However, Tsonev made a flush to eliminate Abrams.
